016: All's Well That Ends Well

And on that note, I'm slowly recovering from this past weekend. Unfortunately, going through too many days without sleep really does take a toll on you. Overall, the weekend was great. I always prefer the crowds at smaller conventions than larger conventions. The artists I met were all fantastic:
Leila's Clay Creations: Facebook | Twitter | Etsy | DeviantArt
Lunar Sapphire Studio: Site | Facebook | DeviantArt
Dynamic Rex: Site | Facebook | DeviantArt | Twitter
Kikstar: Site | Facebook | Twitter
And so much of my stuff was sold, which I was beyond excited about. So thank you to everyone who made my first booth at an Artist's Alley more than successful. I was hoping to be able to make it out to Metrocon this year, but I waited to long to try and find a booth. I may go as a regular attendee, which will be just as fun. :D I was also hoping to set up shop at Anime Festival Orlando, but unfortunately, I'm considered more of a crafter than an artist, so I won't be allowed to have a booth there. I'll probably attend that one too though. Orlando Anime Day will most likely be the next one I'm able to make it out to as an Artist, so hooray for that!

Anyway, here's some pictures of stuff from the past weekend at Florida Anime Experience:

I was too busy hanging around the booth to take many pictures, but that's the important/silly stuff. Anyway that's all until next time.

011: For the horde.....wait a minute, wrong game and faction.

I do apologize for the hiatus in posting up awesome bead stuff, but the release of Diablo III has captured my interests for the moment. To hold you over, here's the rest of the comic strip. Available in pieces or in it's entirety. Feel free to email me for details, everything is customizable.

009: Thank you, but our princess is in another castle.

We've been famicom-ing ourselves to death over here. Splatterhouse, Kid Dracula, McMario, All Night Nippon, Doki Doki Panic, you name it, we've been staying up until 8am to play it. So you can guess, most of our inspiration as of late has been old school Japanese game related. This is what we have to show for it!

(Can also be made in 3d-how cool)

My boyfriend ironed both sides, we don't like the way it looks, never doing that again.

We <3 Goombas, except when they're stealing our stuff >_<

Rockman (AKA, Megaman) going "Pew pew pew!"

Sadako (Ringu) or Samara (Ring) crawling out of the TV to get you! Looks like you 7 days are up! Cool thing about this is that there is an NES on the top right of the tube and the beads that make up the screen glow! Also, below the Sadako piece, there's a video of the Morning Musume girls watching a clip from ringu. I laugh manically every time.....don't judge.

And now it's Mario and Yoshi's turn to go "Pew pew pew!"

Has our Famicom/NES/SNES/Super Famicom love overcome us? I do believe so. But admit it, you like it. Be prepared for some pretty awesome anime type stuff coming up soon!

004: Come on, let's do the Mario!

Just a few things that have been sitting around the house that we're considering framing and hanging up, figured I'd do a bit of showing off. :D

Ferrari 328gts

Mudkip

Okay, this one needs a little bit of explaining. The idea behind this is that Peach was having a wild "romp" with some other video games characters and Mario is chasing Lolo through the entire comic strip.

I suppose you could say that comic is "Tarantino-ed." This is the last frame, but basically what sets up the whole comic. In this frame we have Mario, Peach, Lolo, Lonk and Megaman. :P

And last but no least, this is Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. It has since doubled in size since my boyfriend finally finished it, but I guess I never found a finished picture of it.

So, we're a pretty talented team as you could say. :P If you have any questions about commissions, feel free to email me at cracklebyte@gmail.com.
